The Beauty Institute is a NACCAS-accredited beauty school approved for VA education benefits. Veterans, service members, reservists and eligible dependents can put those benefits toward training at our West Palm Beach campus.

VA Education Benefit Programs
Chapter 33 — Post-9/11 GI Bill®
If you have at least 90 days of aggregate active duty service after Sept. 10, 2001, and are still on active duty, or if you are an honorably discharged Veteran or were discharged with a service-connected disability after 30 days, you may be eligible for this VA-administered program.
Chapter 30 — Montgomery GI Bill® (Active Duty)
Often referred to as the “old” GI Bill®. The MGIB-AD program, sometimes known as Chapter 30, provides education benefits to Veterans and Servicemembers who have at least two years of active duty.
Chapter 1606 — Montgomery GI Bill® (Selected Reserve & National Guard)
The MGIB-SR program provides education and training benefits to eligible members of the Selected Reserve, including the Army Reserve, Navy Reserve, Air Force Reserve, Marine Corps Reserve and Coast Guard Reserve, and the Army National Guard and the Air National Guard.
Chapter 35 — Survivors’ & Dependents’ Educational Assistance
The Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance (DEA) Program offers education and training opportunities to eligible dependents of Veterans who are permanently and totally disabled due to a service-related condition or of Veterans who died while on active duty or as a result of a service-related condition.
Chapter 31 — Vocational Rehabilitation (Veteran Readiness & Employment)
Comprehensive evaluation to determine abilities, skills, and interests for employment, on the job training, and vocational counseling and rehabilitation.
Steps For Covered Veterans
The Beauty Institute has signed the Title 38 United State Code Section 3679) Form that attests the facility will comply with the requirements of 38 USC 3679(e) and the policies are in our school catalog and on the school’s website. For all veteran students, the following is required before completing enrollment at The Beauty Institute.
- Submit a certification of eligibility for entitlement to educational assistance no later than the first day of a course of education.
- Submit a written request to use such entitlement.
- Provide additional information necessary for the proper certification of enrollment by the educational institution.

Potential students must present a copy of their DD214 and submit a 1995B stating the school they wish to attend.
Important Payment Notice
Students are also informed that the institution reserves the right to require additional payment or impose a fee for the amount that is the difference between the amount of the student’s financial obligation and the amount of the VA education benefit disbursement.

Does The Beauty Institute accept GI Bill® education benefits?
Yes. The Beauty Institute is approved for VA education benefits and has signed the Title 38 United States Code Section 3679 form attesting that the school complies with the requirements of 38 USC 3679(e). Benefit programs listed on this page include Chapter 33, Chapter 30, Chapter 1606, Chapter 35 and Chapter 31.
Which VA education chapters are covered at the West Palm Beach campus?
This page covers five VA education programs: Chapter 33 (Post-9/11 GI Bill®), Chapter 30 (Montgomery GI Bill® Active Duty), Chapter 1606 (Montgomery GI Bill® Selected Reserve and National Guard), Chapter 35 (Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance) and Chapter 31 (Vocational Rehabilitation). Eligibility for any program is determined by the VA, not by the school.
What do I need to submit before enrolling with VA benefits?
Covered veterans must submit a certification of eligibility for entitlement to educational assistance no later than the first day of a course of education, submit a written request to use that entitlement, and provide any additional information necessary for proper certification of enrollment. Chapter 31 provides a comprehensive evaluation to determine abilities, skills and interests for employment, on-the-job training, and vocational counseling and rehabilitation. Talk to our admissions team and your VA counselor about applying Chapter 31 to a program at The Beauty Institute.
