Pompano Beach Cosmetology and Barber School

Our cosmetology classes cover creative aspects, as well as practical techniques and skills, in a small classroom learning environment. Topics include hairstyles and hair design, braiding, nails, makeup, and facials.  Many of our students choose to specialize in one, or both, of the following focus areas.

• A nail technician specialist learns all the ins and outs of manicures, pedicures, and nail extensions.  Topics include natural nail shapes along with proper use of instruments.  Plus sanitation and safety.  Even manicure and pedicure massage techniques.
• A facial specialist covers the dynamic field of makeup and facials.  Subject areas include makeup artistry with the latest fashion trends and color combinations together with new products, computer colors, foundations, concealers, powders, blush, eye shadow, eye outliner, mascara, lip shine, and lip crayons.  We cover both men’s and women’s facials with topics such as masks, packs, and other materials together with manipulations and special equipment.  All with an eye towards preventing and diminishing wrinkles, fading scars, and promoting healthy glowing youthful skin.

You’ll also learn business skills such as forming lasting relationships with clients together with salon management and marketing communications so you can manage your own career.  Or your own business.  All in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
