Federal financial aid (Title IV)

What is the difference between a school special and financial aid?

A special is an offer the school sets and can change at any time. Financial aid is federal or state funding you apply and qualify for independently, through the FAFSA, the VA or Vocational Rehabilitation. They are separate things, and many students use both together.
