The mission of The Beauty Institute is to train and prepare students through classroom instruction and daily practical floor training to work confidently and competently as barber professionals after their training.
The Beauty Institute has signed the Title 38 United State Code Section 3679) Form that attests the facility will comply with the requirements of 38 USC 3679(e) and the policies are in our school catalog and on the school’s website.
For all veteran students, the following is required before completing enrollment at The Beauty Institute.
Covered veterans are required to take the following steps:
- Submit a certification of eligibility for entitlement to educational assistance no later than the first day of a course of education.
- Submit a written request to use such entitlement
- Provide additional information necessary for the proper certification of enrollment by the educational institution.
Students are also informed that the institution reserves the right to require additional payment or impose a fee for the amount that is the difference between the amount of the student’s financial obligation and the amount of the VA education benefit disbursement.
Chapter 33 – Post 9/11 GI Bill®
If you have at least 90 days of aggregate active duty service after Sept. 10, 2001, and are still on active duty, or if you are an honorably discharged Veteran or were discharged with a service-connected disability after 30 days, you may be eligible for this VA-administered program.
Chapter 30 – Montgomery GI Bill®
Often referred to as the “old” GI Bill®. The MGIB-AD program sometimes known as Chapter 30 provides education benefits to Veterans and Servicemembers who have at least two years of active duty.
Chapter 35 – Dependents Educational Assistance
The Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance (DEA) Program offers education and training opportunities to eligible dependents of Veterans who are permanently and totally disabled due to a service-related condition or of Veterans who died while on active duty or as a result of a service-related condition.
Chapter 1606 – Montgomery GI Bill® – Selected Reserve and National Guard
MGIB-SR program provides education and training benefits to eligible members of the Selected Reserve, including the Army Reserve, Navy Reserve, Air Force Reserve, Marine Corps Reserve and Coast Guard Reserve, and the Army National Guard and the Air National Guard.
Chapter 31 – Vocational Rehabilitation
Comprehensive evaluation to determine abilities, skills, and interests for employment, on the job training, and vocational counseling and rehabilitation.
Potential students must present a copy of their DD214 and submit a 1995B stating the school they wish to attend. Students are also informed that the institution reserves the right to require additional payment or impose a fee for the amount that is the difference between the amount of the student’s financial obligation and the amount of the VA education benefit disbursement.
